Introducing OpenFL Technologies

I am happy to announce that OpenFL Technologies LLC is now official!

I have expressed my desire to make deeper investments in OpenFL. Together with my business partner, we are scaling up a company to support the long-term growth of the OpenFL platform. We are open to your feedback as we seek to improve OpenFL and provide additional value to the community. Immediately, OpenFL Technologies is available to provide enterprise support and custom development, to help make sure your projects are a success.

We are also announcing a new beta porting service for game developers. As you concentrate on your title, we can help leverage the cross-platform power of OpenFL to bring your games to new platforms, for a low revenue share, allowing you to generate new sources of revenue without the added cost of supporting new devices or markets. If you are interested in being part of this beta, please contact us.

We welcome your support and look forward to a bright future ahead! 🙂

  • Congratulations, the community is behind you and I personally look forward to see OpenFL prosper and become the de-facto open source game library, and hopefully, we can get HaxeFlixel to be the de-facto game engine for OpenFL 😀

Good luck, thanks for your dedication and hard work!

  • Paul Gene Thompson

This is great news for everyone, hopefully we can support you with some quality games / apps and show the world how great OpenFL is.

  • Akim Gacem

Nice! Wish you and the OpenFL team all the best !

Will it have some sort of foundation behind or a social contract to keep warrantied the open source status of the project for the community?

  • For over a year, OpenFL Technologies was an exciting adventure. Now my wife and I have a small business that acts as an umbrella for OpenFL expenses.

In the future, I think that a non-profit foundation to ensure OpenFL’s future could make sense, but at the moment, I think it is fine to keep things simple.

OpenFL has continued to grow quickly in the past year, and I look forward to the road ahead!

By the way, a great way to support the project is to buy a T-shirt or donate on Patreon 🙂

Completely understandable, it is a great project I am sure it requires a lot of work to maintain.
I personally think, it needs a bit of visibility in the main page:
I only see sponsorship for corporations in a secondary webpage.

I wish you all the best!
